Last night Cam competed at his third Stroke and stride this year and the penultimate race of the 2009/10 series, race # 7, involving a 750m swim and 5klm run, and again gapped all but incomparable Brent Foster in the swim. Cam lead around the first two buoys, and exited the water on the heels of Brent Foster, who had played a cat and mouse game on the swim back to the beach. They then ran together for approx 4.5klms of the run, before Cameron broke away to take the win, 3 from 3, and all over Brent Foster. His training buddy Sam Franklin who had drawn close, came home in third place. Go to the swimrun
website for the race results and write up. This was a good result for Cameron, having been forced to pull out of the Takapuna Triathlon last Sunday with cramp.
