A good committee meeting last night with planning well under way for next season. We will keep you up to date with plans as they become available.
Monday 10/5/2010:
TST spin classes on every Monday night at Taupo Intermediate starting at 6.30pm. Also our bunch rides leave from the AC Baths car park at 9am every Sunday.

We had our club prize giving on Friday night at Scenic Sellers - the award nominations and winners can be found here
Monday night spin classes start tonight @ 6.30pm at Taupo Intermediate. The cost is $2 per session or $15 for 10 sessions per term. all you need to bring is your bike and wind-trainer.
Sunday Cycle Ride - 9am. leaving from the Taupo Event Center car-park. Caters for all abilities from beginners to Olympic athletes. no one gets left behind, is friendly & Coffee afterwards
Iron Virgins meetings - tomorrow at the Harriers Club from 6.30pm, Speaker at 7pm. Gold coin donation - open to any person wishing to do any running, cycling, swimming, triathlon (any distance - not only iron-man distance) events. Each meeting has a speaker with valuable information for any athlete. Speakers are: our wonderful local coaches.

Gridkids
Tri Sport Taupo is pleased to announce our involvement with Grid kids Taupo. This is a great new annitiative funded by Youthtown and run by local Shanelle Barrett. More information to come but visit http://www.gridkids.co.nz/ for more information. The event date is Sunday the 21st of March. We will be having weekly training sessions up to the event starting the week of 15th Feb 2010.
We have 5 training sessions organised for Gridkids starting on Tuesday the 16th of February (10-15 years olds) and Wednesday the 17th (7-9 year olds). Download the full information Here

Cameron Durno is announced Regional Youth Development Officer for the Taupo region... This is a great opportunity for our youth and parents to gain knowledge from a local coach with it being fully funded by Youthtown and Tri NZ.
